Job Description:

Blizzard is seeking an Associate Director, Head of PMM, to lead the Overwatch Product Marketing team, who will lead a team of Product Marketers in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for Overwatch 2 live service and Overwatch Esports at Blizzard Entertainment!

This position requires a strategic and collaborative leader who can blend creativity with data-driven decision making to drive the Overwatch 2 business while continuously evolving and improving how we develop seasonal campaigns and activate across Blizzard Marketing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced product-led environment.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the product development team to understand product features, target audience, and market trends. Provide input into seasonal content and develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with product objectives and company goals.

Go-to-Market Planning: Lead the development and execution of go-to-market plans for Overwatch 2 seasonal launches and Overwatch Esports. Coordinate with internal marketing cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and impactful strategies and activations are developed to achieve business objectives.

Insights: Collaborate with Consumer Insights and Analytics teams to leverage insights to prioritize features against audience segments, develop effective key messaging and consistently measure and improve seasonal go-to-market plans.

Campaign Management: Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns across marketing touchpoints, allocating resources and investment to hit business objectives. Monitor performance and optimize tactics based on key metric reporting and data insights.

Cross-functional Leadership : Partner closely with cross-functional teams and leaders, including the Overwatch Leadership Team, game development and various marketing teams to ensure alignment and drive continued success and process improvement across all stages of product development.

Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of Product Marketing professionals, working with the team to develop strategies and plans, while providing guidance, feedback and support to foster their development and success.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.

· 5+ years in a senior product marketing leadership role, with proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns for a live service business.

· Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision making, using insights, and learning to adapt and inform future plans.

· Strong understanding of gaming market dynamics, player behavior and industry trends, with a strong passion for gaming, the FPS category and Overwatch.

· Proven experience working closely with game development teams and understanding game development processes and live service businesses.

· Entrepreneurial spirit is a must, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong leadership experience with experience briefing and driving planning across large cross-functional teams, leveraging strong project management skills to meet deadlines.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $111,960.00 - $207,270.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
